NEW DELHI: Tech giant IBM has opened a new client centre in Delhi to help enterprises address business challenges in their sectors leveraging cloud computing, analytics, mobile and social technologies.

The centre will use technology to create a digital immersive environment using the best of IBM and partner technology to create a customised experience for each client.

"India is a key market for IBM with high business potential and our endeavour is focussed on bringing value and vertical experience to our clients," IBM India/South Asia VP and partner (industry and value creation leader) Anuj K Jain told PTI.

At the centre, clients will not only get the best insights about their business challenges, but they will get a chance to collaborate closely with IBM experts and discover how the firm can help them succeed in business transformation, he added.

This facility joins a network of more than 100 IBM client centres worldwide, supporting the full range of IBM's products and solutions, Jain said.

It will host cross-industry solution briefings, demos, workshops and multiple command centre environments making smarter planet solutions for clients.

The centre also houses IBM's smarter cities technology, including the IBM Intelligent Operations Centre, which is integral to the firm's efforts to help the region's IT businesses, developers, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and academics, he added.

IBM's solutions are delivered from a private cloud host using IBM PureFlex and IBM Storage systems. They are based around IBM software solutions, including WebSphere, DB2, Worklight and Intelligent Operations Centre.
