ITC Infotech's testing assessment services receives TMMi accreditation

PUNE: TMMi (Testing Maturity Model integration), an independent apex industry body, has accredited the assessment method developed by ITC Infotech.

ITC Infotech's testing methodology is at par with the latest TAMAR requirements (TAMAR Release 1.0). The accreditation enables ITC Infotech to assess IT organizations based on the TMMi model. The assessment includes a comprehensive study of an organizations' testing landscape to identify and define incremental steps for improvement so as to optimize the organizations' testing capabilities. The TMMi accreditation also benchmarks the test maturity of an organization against the industry standard.

The TMMi accreditation guides organizations to define a roadmap for success and actionable plans that focus on business priorities. It leverages industry best practice accelerators to reduce cost and improve productivity. The accreditation not only aids in gaining a wider perspective within testing operations, but also helps create a sustainable roadmap for improving test process maturity.

ITC Infotech initiated the accreditation process after a detailed analysis and various studies showed that key challenges in the communication, process, organization and technology spaces, were not being detected during regular system testing.
