Microsoft Xbox One to be exclusively available on Amazon India on September 23, pre-orders begin today
Back in June Microsoft had announced the Xbox One in India, which will be available from September 23 onwards. Amazon India today announced that it will be exclusively selling the gaming console in the country. The Xbox One is priced at Rs 39,990 without Kinect and Rs 45,990 including Kinect.
With more than a month before availability, Amazon India has started accepting pre-orders for the console and also announced a bunch of offers for buyers. The offers are worth Rs 10,000 and are applicable for the first 1,000 buyers pre-ordering the console before August 12. These offers include Rs 3,000 off on an Xbox One controller, two free Blu-Ray movies (Captain America Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Rs 2,000 off on select speakers, Rs 1,000 off on Wildcraft or High Sierra backpacks and an Amazon giftcard worth Rs 1,500.
The Xbox One was launched back in November for $499.99 and just like Sony, Microsoft too managed to sell more than a million consoles on day one. It is however lagging in sales numbers to its Sony counterpart, which is also more popular among gamers.
